Jetting with k&n air filter

Just bought a k&n Air filter for my xx. Someone told me it would have to be jetted, I didn't think I would have to do that. Did anyone else jet there's after installing one of those?

Hey Bub tell whoever told you that, your bike is fuel injected. You don't need to jet anything on it. You won't hurt anything by just running a k and n filter.

I'll bet this guy was either a mechanic trying to get into your wallet, or just someone that didn't have a clue. Others are right no jets on the Fuel Injection system in our 700's.
