CP pistons seem to be favourite for alot of xx builds.

I miss racing Vegas to Reno, last time I ran was 2009, the year it was 1,000 miles over three days. I think I am still trying to recover from that one! It is a very fun race, you will have a blast.

I think CP is your only choice, I don't know of anyone else making pistons for the 700XX. I would run a 11:1 piston, that way you can still run pump gas. The last three pits at Vegas to Reno are remote, meaning your pit crew can't leave one and beat the quad to any other. When I raced that race, I was always worried my pit crew would miss me at one of those pits and I would have to get gas from anyone who could spare it. Would be alot easier to find pump fuel then race fuel was my thought.

That being said, I think even the 12.5:1 would be just as reliable, just have to make sure you have race fuel where you need it.
