Need Valve Help

When replacing the stock valves with kibblewhites do I have to polish the head or can I clean up the head and replace them? The valves I have are still standard size.

you should have the seats refaced to freshen them up to do it correctly. if you lap them good they will work in a pinch but they need a cutter on the seat to do it correctly imo

I just had the head on my Yamaha Warrior done and I put in Kibblewhite valves, springs, retainers, etc... When I did I had the valve seats done at a machine shop to match the valves to the seats. This is really the best way to go to make sure the valves seal properly.
