Spark Plugs

Has Anybody looked into moving to a hotter or colder plug for performance. I just have the big 3 and a Velocity filter and wondering if changing the heat range could possibly give me a little better performance whether it would be hotter or colder. Im looking at testing it but wondered if anybody has yet or not. thanks

There was a big thread on this a while back. There was alot of speculation about one plug in particular giving you just a little extra. I put one in and there might have been little difference but nothing spectacular. The plug was:

NGK*
BKR6EKPB-11
STOCK NUMBER 3452 (this is o'rileys number)

I have had one in for maybe a year and it works well. Is it any better than stock? Maybe on a dyno or with more mods.

Edit:
Full thread on plug can be found here. https://www.club700xx.com/vb/showthre...ght=SPArk+plug

Yeah, it only took DL700 9 pages to tell us what the plug was. I've been running the plug for over a year as well with no problems at all. Should give 1.4 HP extra... hard to feel in the butt, but there.

I found a BKR6E....would this be the same/similar plug to the BKR6EKPB-11? I bought one as I was told it was the same plug without the dual electrode and no being platinum. Not sure if I should use it in my quad
