2 Questions??

So i want to beef up my xx a little give it some sound so i want a slip on but if i get one will i NEED a fuel programmer or will it just be fine Secondly i think my valves need to be adjusted should i do it my self or drop the 150 to get it done if someone could post a how too video that would be awesome because i cant find any Thanks

i wouldnt waste my money on a slip on , there is vids on you tube on the valves

i looked at the vids on you tube cant find any off xx and i would buy the slip on now then when i get more money buy the header

Save your money and get a full system and a programer at the same time. This way you can tune it all at once. Realistically a slip on will only give you a bit of power by itself and any good slip on should be programed. Many guys have gotten away with just adding the slip on but these bikes already run on the lean side from the factory. It really depends on your elevation as well.

Download the service manual, and by a decent set of feeler gauges. That is if after reading manual your up for challenge!
