fuel pump problem

Well this morning, started the xx, everything was good, was put it in the trailer, towed it to the trails and the xx is not starting anymore. Seems like I hear just a click click from the fuel pump. Can it be frozen or does it need to be changed completely ?

Mods: Razors in the back cutters in front. Honda Racing nerf bars. CCP steering stabilizer. Elka Stage 1 up front. PC3 with KnN filter and Lexx slipon.

Could you have clogged fuel filters? Did you try pop starting it? Is your fuel lever on? A lot of people probably haven't changed out their filters, and it is a good idea. I don't think the pump is bad, haven't heard of one going bad yet.

NavyNut,
Sure sound like a bad battery. Make sure the terminals are clean and tight. If it cranked and didn't start the next places to check would be spark and fuel delivery.
Note: When you say "frozen" where exactly, are you located?

Sid, Good point. Kind of why I asked if he popped started it. Even though with FI, the pump needs to be running, but usually if you don't turn off the peacock, you'd have enough fuel in there for it to fire over, and once started the pump would pick up.

Well I'm in Canada, it was -20c(without wind) today so I guess it froze because after putting a hairdryer on it for 10min it started working again. Went for a ride without a problem so all in all I guess it was just bad gas in it.

NavyNut,
Great and easy fix. You folks sure have some cold temperatures. No doubt Honda and all companies should do some cold weather testing in Canada. I am sure Can-Am does. The off-road community is huge there.
Congrats.
