I run Peak 50/50. I have never tried any of the non-glycol based coolants.

I'm about to do a flush aswell. Installing a trail tech vapor.. I'm going to use engine ice. I know his that run it in all they're bikes including race bikes. From what I understand you just can't mix them. You get a bad reaction ha.

I've been running engine ice for about a year..... No issues yet. As far as cooler running, I couldn't tell any difference without a temp gauge.

I got the change done and I have a temp gauge (tt and infrared) at idle it gets to 215 and the fan kicks on. Its only 45 degrees here now. Riding up and down the street it keep it at 185-195. Should the fan have to kick on at idle? I never noticed that before. Just worried for when it gets 100at the dunes this summer

Oh I know the fan is working great. buck did you end up using engine ice? I guess I never noticed it kick on just siting at idle unless I was out riding hard. I will be paying much more attention to it for a while. As for the engine ice, so far i'm very unimpressed. I did get the one with-25 freeze protection to. I'll wait until its hotter out and see how it does then before I decide to flush it out.
