Header Ceramic Treated

Well! Just installed my Ceramic Heat Treated Header and honestly I can not tell the difference, still dispersing some heat, perhaps not as much but won't know until I hit the trails which hopefully will be this weekend. It does look sweet!

well i do know that even with triple wrapped exhaust it still burns. Conduction still plays a roll...but i bet you will see a slight performance gain.

the pipe with coating on it will keep the heat in..hotter gasses means the exhaust gasses will keep there velocity up past the bend...netting you better exhuast gas expulsion. In other words...less back pressure at higher RPM's..and more power.

yah thats the Im tired and dont have time to explain it better....

Thanks for the info, didn't think about that but you're correct, I'll figure out another way to help relieve the heat from burning my leg.

Get an infrared temp quage and you will see a difference. Point it an untreated header and then a treated one and you'll see how big of a difference it really is. I have applied ceramic to every one of my drag cars primaries and there is a gain in HP and a reduction of under hood temps.

Took the bike out and did notice a difference in heat and power, much better unless I'm riding winding trails where I'm riding slow then I could feel the heat but overall for $65 very happy.
