Houser nerfs

Hey guys got a quick question, I just ordered a set of houser Nerf bars. Will I have to remove my aluminum skid plate to install them? I can't find the real answer but I read in 1 post that it rums under the frame. Not sure if this is true or not but I really don't want to remove the skid plate. Anyone run these?

i hope they are really for a 700xx because they quit making them due to lack of demand and the xx was only produced in 08 and 09! they may of had enough parts laying around the shop if you really ordered them from houser!

Got them from Nacs racing for 425 off their eBay store , maybe they had 1 left? Once I bought them they were removed from Nacs site and I even talked to a guy on the phone first. They come tomorrow so I will see. Thanks for letting me know.

yeah well Nacs may have to get some parts from houser! they have been on ebay since early 2009 with nacs advertising them for sale so they prolly have the right ones. i was gonna buy them from nacs but i went cheap and got alba nerfs and the welds always crack where they bolt to the footpeg!

I like the looks of those Houser's, with the built in heal guards. But you can beat the price, and durability of the Honda nerf's.

I've got a set of genuine Hondas they are awesome. Too bad I prefer without. Would consider parting with for 75bucks canadian plus shipping if anyones interested. Just throwing it out there.

Depends on the brand of skid you have. I had to remove my Prm skid because itinterfered with the peg mounts on my Houser needs, just had to trim the skid slightly, much easier with the skid off the quad.

The front mounts you will have to cut a hole in the side plastics, the front mount is attached at the front motor mount.

The Houser nerfbars are well worth the money, I love the suspension in the pegs, I am sure you will like them also.

Just to give an update, I installed the houser nerfs last weekend and they were a nightmare. Nothing lined up correctly so I had to correct a few holes and the instructions were not very specific. Took me and my brother about 2 1/2 hours to install and it really was hell.
They do really look great and they perform even better. They absorb everything while standing up in combination with the Flexx bars. For the money they should have lined up right but now that they are on I'm ok with it. I'll post some pics in a bit
