Rear shock set up

I can't afford new shocks for my bike so I would like to find out the best setting for a 250 pound guy. Any help would be great. Thanks guys

HI, there isn't one. All you can do is wind up the spring preload maybe.

they are rebuildable and you can get them revalved and sprung for $400.00 us dollar plus shipping or you can spend 800.00 to 1600.00 on two new stg 4 or 5 elkas!

When I had stockers on the back I would crank the preload up quite a bit. 250+ here. It helps but don't expect too much. See how much HLS would charge to do them up right.

no i dont have no link you just got to watch ebay and elka distributors i got my fronts stg 4 for 750 off of a seller on ebay and his weight was ten pounds heavier than me so i bought them and they really wasntset up for my weight which was ten pounds difference iam lighter and the shocks are awesome i havent bottomed out since i got them and the g-outs are gone too mine are long travel too and i am using them on oem a arms when i get the money i will find a deal on lt a arms!
