Bronze would be best as its self lubricating.. Nylon can expand when wet..
So i finally decided to tackle the front a-arm bushes...
not that bad but still a pain to remove the stop rings as hitting them just sent them spinning round the groove.
At 8.5k they really needed doing.
I got a small drill and partially drilled a hole from the inside along side the stop ring.. Was really easy to hook them out once that was done...
Had to replace the lower bolts as they also had wear from where they pass through the bearing..
Just need to work up the enthusiasm to tackle the rears, which still are not that bad, compared to the fronts!
Next will be the dreaded rear drive shaft, and the shaft that the brake disc and sprocket sit on, as that now wobbles !!
Think thats going to be an expensive one!

Probably so, but you've been extremely lucky for it to last this long. That is if you haven't been taking it apart and lubing. As mine started to wear out the 3rd season.
Must be the luck factor as neevr taken it apart for greasing, and quad often gets left for weeks on end covered in mud !
the a-arm bearings were absolutely full of dried mud !
