DG skids, PIA but work. Huge rattle buzz, weather stripping fixed it...

Forgot to mention I installed the DG skid plates... 1st off no instructions, good luck figuring out the front side of the fronts..

Anyway, the bolts stripped way to easy, so I had to get creative...

Installed full skids, front, mid, back.. When I fired her up, MAJOR buzz coming from underneath. All bolts were installed with a torque wrench (hence stripping) so I know they were crazy tight.

I had to remove the screw/bolts and place some weather stripping on the frame. This eliminated the nasty, and I mean nasty loud buzz that emanated from the skids.

Anyone else have this issue?

I had skids on my 300ex with no issues.. no buzz.. But anyway, lesson learned. Cheap fix.

Anyone know what size screw they take? I want to put some stripping on the rears and front a-arm guards as well.. I will have to drill out the old screws since they are stripped.
