Wheel size

Hi All, My 2008 TRX700XX came with stock 22x9-11 tires / wheels. I have a set of 22x11-10 Douglas Blue label wheels / Skat Trak Haulers paddle tires that I was hoping to put on my 700xx. If I take the mud scrappers off the rear, will these wheels fit? I paid a bunch for these Douglas Blue Labels with the Scat Trak's and I hate to see them go. I had purchased them for my 04 TRX450R, but found they hooked up in the sand too well and I could not keep the bike from trying to wheelie all the time. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to get an idea if they will work before I spend the time dismounting / un-bolting, etc. Thanks, Pete

the above 22x11-10 is the tire size not the wheel size right? IDK the lug pattern for 450r right off. The 700xx is 4x144 and a 22x7x10 wheel fits with removing the mud scrapers.

According to this the front of your 04 450R is a 4x144 but the rear is 4x110

only way them bluelabels will work is if you put the 450 rear hubs on the xx which i think that makes it wider than 50 inches, Baxter has done it but i dont think he liked it to well!

Hey guys, thanks for the info. So it looks as if my Douglas blue labels are going to have to go bye bye. Well, in all honesty that's still better than the Skat Trak padles having to go bye bye. The Skat Traks cost a bundle! A new set of blue labels is about a $100.

I will buy some rims with the 4/144 bolt pattern this week. Are you guys sure a 10 inch rim will work on the rear of a 700xx if I remove the mud scrapers?

Thanks in advance, Pete

I use 10" rims on mine. Instead of getting rid of the wheels you have, you can by wheel spacers with the correct bolt pattern. It will make the rear stick out some, but if you are at the dunes, I don't see it being a problem. I've seen a few guys do it at the dunes on their XX's, as they used to have 450's and didn't want to change the rim.

2008 700xx; Power Bomb header with power core 4 exhaust, Power Programmer III, pro armor nerfs, prm products control front and rear bumpers and full skid, 10" ITP rears, ITP Baja's fronts, RZR 2's all the way around, Uni filter, 13t sprocket, CCP steering Damper, DS450 shock swap, Dual Gasser Throttle, bar risers and Moose barkBusters. 730XX kit plus other engine mods!

Thanks for the advice crwh45. Unfortunately I am in a little dilemma on this one. 2 wheels (ITP T9-Pro 10x7) cost less than 2 wheel adapters ($143.90 before shipping). My initial thought is get the new wheels, then sell my Douglas Blue Labels on Craigslist. Selling the blue labels on CL will help to offset the cost of the new wheels. Only problem with new wheels is will a 10x7 wheel be too skinny to fit a 22x11-10 tire? Dear Honda, Why didn't you make the 700xx rear wheels 4/110???? :(

Thanks M_Quick! The tires look a little curled in at the rim, but looks like it works just fine. Nice looking quad by the way. Thanks for letting me know about the 10x7. I appreciate it and all the other comments on this subject. Pete

Yea the 22x11x10's balloon out a little, but that just sets the rim in and protects it somewhat from rocks.
