Bent Swaybar.

Been rebuilding the T-Rexx for the new season and was struggling to get the rear shock bolts out. Found this to be the problem. Anybody else's done this ?









Was going to straighten it and put it back on for next year.

2008 TT-ReXX , 2003 400ex and 2014 CRF250r.

no never bent the swaybar yet, heck i still run the oem an it is will prolly bend easier than the kl8ton one .. how did you manage that?bending your swaybar?

Think I did it beach racing , we qualified for the Pro class. Had a great weekend but the track was a killer on day 2.

Wow! I'm not so sure how you managed that, especially beach racing. I wonder if this could be part of the reason Kyle switch back to original design on the 11/16's bar or is that the 9/16's? On a side note, what caused the rub spot near the center of the bar " loose chain" ? I know the outside spots are from no or not enough lube on the bushings

It's a 11/16" bar and the wear marks are loose chain but within Honda's settings and not enough lube on the pivots. I think I know what caused it and probably should have used the stocker for beach racing but basically I think I ran the rear shocks too soft and overworked the swaybar. The chassis twists more in beach racing than say on a MX track also.

That's a different 11/16 design then mine is but I got mine about 6 months ago. The one I have is shaped exactly like the stocker, but much thicker of course

Yea mine is like your's too, and it's at least a couple years old. Awhile ago Kyle went to a different design he called it the XL bar. And then for some reason he switched back to the original design, at least on the 11/16's bar.
