Same size tire at all 4 corners?

I am thinking of running 22x7x10 Kenda Kutter XC's on Hiper 10x5 4-1 offset rims at all 4 corners. I have 3 out 4 tires and still would need to purchase the rims.

Does anyone see any issues with doing this?

I've seen a few desert racers running that setup but it would probably be horrible for trails.

I have 3 tires and 4 stock front rims, so for right now I am going to buy 1 more tire and test it out. If it works I will drop the $$ on the hipers.

Only thing that concerns me is the profile of the tire changes. I was looking at the xc masters but I would have to cut knobs off to get rid of the continuous center rib.

The xc racer that posted on here awhile back had 22x8x10 tires on all 4 corners. I think they were 22 high? I asked him a similar question, and his answer was in case of a flat. He'd only have to have one type of spare instead of two. I two think it looked funny, and don't see how it could handle well in the turns. But he was xc not mx...

I know if at least one desert racer 700XX that has run front tires on all four corners, but that 700XX custom framed/suspended. Seemed to work alright. I think cornering would be fine, I would be more concerned about forward bite. If you already have the stock wheels and three of the four tires, I say buy another tire and try it. let us know how it works.

In order for you to do that, wouldn't you need different hubs in the rear because the bolt pattern is different between the fronts and the rears on this machine? I could be mistaken, having so many darn toys I can't keep it start. It'd be as simple as changing out the rear hubs w/ some rancher ones as some of the guys have done on here. I guess I'd just make sure the clearance is there as well with the rear A Arms, which I imagaine it shouldn't be a problem if they are front wheels.

2008 700xx; Power Bomb header with power core 4 exhaust, Power Programmer III, pro armor nerfs, prm products control front and rear bumpers and full skid, 10" ITP rears, ITP Baja's fronts, RZR 2's all the way around, Uni filter, 13t sprocket, CCP steering Damper, DS450 shock swap, Dual Gasser Throttle, bar risers and Moose barkBusters. 730XX kit plus other engine mods!

The fronts and rears are 4/144, pretty sure of this.

You are correct.

Front wheels fit fine on the rear. I had a set of fronts on the rear of my one 700XX because I needed all the rear tires I owned for a race. Still wanted to be able to move that 700XX around the garage if I needed to.
