houser A-arm shock quastion

i want to get houser extended a-arms for the xx but what shock size will i need, their is a kit thats 1700 bucks but i though i could get the a-arms and brake lines new and then buy used shocks, so what is the shock size eye to eye

Eye to eye length is not the only thing to worry about, you also have to be concerend with shaft travel. Best bet would be to call Houser direct and get the shock specs from them.

They are shorter like 18.25. Check Houser's web site in the discription they say what size shocks needed.

Long Travel Shock Required - Free Length: 18.125 in, Stroke: 5.875 in, 23 in Tires


does this mean eye to eye 18.125 ? does this also mean i need a 23" tires for this set up or could i still use 21 or 2's

If it were me I'd stick to the same height tire for two reasons:

Sidewall length and ground clearance. (I understand the latter is minimal)
