Trimming front fenders

I know most have gone for the Baja look but has anyone trimmed the front fenders?
The reason I ask is because when dodging trees ,I cannot see the front wheels and I wanted to trim them so I do not get covered in mud but can see my front wheels.

Thinking along them lines but it is the rear bit that needs trimming.

Just take off the outter fender and leave the inner one on. You will need to do something with the brackets that face your knees though:

Here, I just went outside and took some pictures for you:

Might just go for the Baja look at the next round and see what it is like to ride with no front fenders.

Here it is with no fenders this morning - foggy lense. Sand tires on.

I have some rear ones too!

Bumper is back on.

Long story short, the ATC2K sucks for mounting options so I mounted it up front and had to remove the bumper to clear the view of the lens. The grill is the same part as the light so you would have to modify (cut) the thing in half to remove the grill. Since I have a negative cash flow at this time no part are bing bought. Once I get a job though...look out.
