Thinking of building a mud drag machine.

I'm thinking the 700xx could be a good mud dragger, it has excellent ground clearance. What is the best mud tire for a straight line? Interco? Does anyone make a snorkel setup?

Well I ride a lot of deep mud with mine and I run maxxis zillas. They hook up real nice in all conditions. And will allow me to do water wheelies when it's deep enough. But I'm sure there are better straight line tires that would work on the xx. As for snorkels I was going to do it to mine but ran out of interest. The best set up I could come up with was running directly out the side of the air box and up and out the rear fender. I may still do it yet eventually. As far as ground clearance and capabilities I've taken my xx through a lot of mud and water that people didn't think I'd get through. My main riding partner rides a grizzly 700 and I go anywhere he can go and I usually go first to test the waters lol.

I've done a few mud drags with a set of paddles on my XX. A snorkel was not needed. 250 feet in 3.5 seconds is my average time. That is with a stock motor. All I have done to it is a tuner and a slip on pipe with no airbox lid
