Doug Bergstrom has a nice 700xx setup for desert racing that has an extended wheelbase. Think he's running a custom set of texeiria tech rear arms that are +2/+1

What are you trying to get it to work well for? I do have Teixeira Tech a-arms all around on one of my 700XX's that stretch the wheelbase 2". Fronts arms are +1 forward, while the rear are +1 rearward. Works very well out in the desert, but that is really the only terrain I ride it in. Guess it just depends on what type of terrain you are riding in. My guess the tighter and more technical, you would want to keep the stock wheelbase, more open, then the stretched wheelbase may be for you.
