Ltr450 front shock swap

Received the ltr front shocks last week, and within a couple hours had them installed. Just as previous threads have stated, there was some bending, grinding, and shimming involved. Nothing too serious though. Your local shock guy could probably set you up with some bushings for the lower mounts. I used a bolt and two nuts to slowly pry the upper shock mount apart. It worked well, and only had to move about 3 mm (1/8"). There was also very little grinding on the upper mount... not enough to compromise structural integrity. With the few adjustments made, the shocks mounted right up, with very little difference in ride height. Depending on your riding style and weight, you may need to revalve. I like my front suspension a little on the softer side, so didn't have to touch it...just set the compression to the stiffest setting and rebound a half of a turn from max. I am very pleased with this swap in both performance, and looks....not to mention it saved me over $1000!! I would recommend this swap to anyone with a budget, as long as you are capable of performing the necessary mods to the mounts.

Yes, but the app won't let me attach them. I'll try on my laptop tomorrow.
