Collar and plates

the collar seams worn , it shakes up n down and its a very annoyin noise , when I brake it kicks hard , maybe 1/8 of thickness missing, anyone has that problem ? page 17-18 in service manual .

Good to hear, I had same issue a year or two ago. I just replaced both of these.

After further review, I recall I also replaced the collar part #

#1 2008 Honda Trx700xx HMF Performance Exhaust, PCV, Stroked 710cc, 10.5:1 Wiseco Piston, Frt Elka Stage 4's, Fox Podium X rear's, EHS Lid, L8ton 11/16" sway bar, PRM Desert II Bumper & Front Skids.
#2 2008 Trx700xx AMR Reaper, Ehs Big 3, P/P head, Xcalibur Cam, Hard Welded Rockers, +1 In/Ex Valves, +3 Throttle body, 11:1 CP Piston, Elka Stage 3 Legacy Shocks, L8ton 11/16th Sway Bar, PRM Front Skids, Desert II Bumper & Rear Utility Rack.

I replaced all the parts and it still slopped about... Now its really bad...
Thinking about another way to clamp it all down.

I glued a piece of rubber 1/8 thick , dont know long it with last , maybe ill have the piece wielded for more thickness next time . or make a piece of steel ...

Sounds like at least a couple of you, let this go way to long before fixing and caused wear to the final case assemble. When mine started moving around, I just replaced the collar and the 2 plates, and it didn't move after that.
