12 inch rear aftermarket rims?

have a ruined rear stock rim, thinking about upgrading to 12 inch aftermarket instead of 10 inch so I can keep the original offset of 5x2 and width of quad, would clearance be an issue with same overall height tires just running the 12 inch rims compared to the 10 inch

10" wheels get tight to the a-arms, which is why the off set needs to be different. You shouldn't have any clearance issues, as long as you don't go over 24" tall or wider than 11" tire. I ran 25x12.5x11's and they only rubbed the heal guards occasionally while under load in a high speed corner, and landing a decent jump.

Have you found a wheel with the 4x144 pattern, or do you plan to modify or swap out rear hubs?

after doing some more research and finding a post somewhere on these forums I decided to go with 10 inch rims, will give me 1/2 inch rear a-arm clearance but that is more than enough unless you bend a rim and to be honest if you bend a rim that badly your in most cases sunk and going to lose tire pressure

Good choice! I'd recommend the DWT .190 Wheels wrapped with GBC X masters. And remember discount tire will beat the lowest price you find! And if you have the extra cash OMF will add the reinforced rings. They look awesome, and should make them harder to bend. Also you will need to remove your mud scrappers.

Wheels & Tires

The 700xx will look and handle better with the wider tires and off set. The factory 9" tires imo we're way to skinny. :atv:

And here's a picture of the DWT 0.190 wheel's after OMF installs there reinforced rings.:xx:

What is your width at with this setup? Also, can you share what rim offset and tires sizes you have all around?

Width in rear is just over 51" I can still pass the 50" limit of the National trails if need be. I just have to make sure to lift quad up, and set it down easy, lol.
As far as tires I have 22x7x10" up front, in the rear 22x11x10" GBC XC Masters. The wheels are DWT 0.190's sizes are front 10x5 with a 3-2 offset. In the Rear 10x7" with 4 3 Offset, All are OEM 4/144 Bolt Pattern.

Thanks. What's your width in the front?

I'm wondering if we can possibly slim it down without having any clearance issues. I've got caught between trees in hare scrambles with a 50" utility.

My front width is around 47". If width is a concern, you should probably stay with 11" Rear wheels & tires.
