10 inch rims in the back?

I was wondering who went with 10s and how they fit and perform. I know it can be done. Rocky Mountain sells the rims. I'm thinking going with Razrs or Holeshots 20x11x10 rear tires on 10s in the back and 21x7s up front. I want a machine that is as versatile as possible. I want to ride desert, occassional MX and technical stuff. There really isn't any mud where I ride. I realize there will be compomises. What does everyone think?

Renthal 13 tooth sprocket
FMF Factory 4.1/Powerbomb header
EHS EFI controller/airbox lid/UNI air filter
Alba Pro Elite nerf bars
Renthal Raptor660 handlebars/ODI Rogue grips/Precision Racing antivibe clamps
CCP steering damper
PRM Desert II bumper/PRM standard grab bar, PRM skidplate
Maxxis Razr 23x7x10 front tires, Kenda Kutter 22x9x11 rear tires
L8ton Racing 9/16 Swaybar
Elka Stage4 front, Fox Podium X rear shocks
Teixeira upper a-arms
Powermadd handguards

There are quite a few members that are running 10" rims and they like them since you have a better selection of tires. With those rims, the wheelbase is wider about 1" on each side and you need to remove the mud scraper. If it wasn't for my trailer's width size, I would have purchase some 10" rims.
Now some of the boys are using them mainly for Dune riding.
If you do a "search" with a 4 letter word..."rims" you'll find a whole bunch of post.

There is an abundant amount of information in the tire/suspension section. Look a few pages back and you will find everything you need to know.

I went 10" and I'm not looking back. I love this wheel and tire set up, I'm going with Razr II's next! Here is the thread I started.

I run 10's with rzr2s, 22'' tires, and they are great. The ITP's aren't the strongest, but they wont break your wallet either. I have several sets, and use them for racing XC, and they work fine. I just bought a set of the BAJA fronts, see how they go and hope they come out with something like that for the back.

IDK if you were directing your question to me Joe, but here you go.

www.itptires.com/honda_trx700xx_product_update.htm

4/144 ITP .190 T-9 Pro Series Wheel 10X7 4.0 + 3.0 Polished4/144 ITP .190 T-9 Pro Series Wheel 10X7 4.0 + 3.0 Polishe

If you go to Rockymountain, just look for the T-9 for our quad, it only comes in front or back and only polished. $66 is what they charge you which is pretty decent. I tried to post a direct link to where you order the wheels, but for some reason it redirects you.

ITP also makes a 12" wheel by the looks, but Im a fraid that may be harder to find tires for too, but I am not sure as I never had to look for them before.

with the RZR 2s, it doesn't slide much unless you lean far forward, but it also depends on the surface you ride on. I go from running MX on a 450 that is built up and light as hell, to this, and it takes about 2 turns to realize im on a different beast, and then I am fine. They are a little wider, but I can't really notice.
