RAZR's Won't Hold Air!!

I have a left rear RAZR on the stock rim and no matter what after about 4-5 days it will go from 7 psi to about 2 psi. What do you guys use, I am about ready to slime it and forget about it!

Have you soak some water/soap on the whole tire to see if you might have a small hole?

no holes, I have a large tub of soapy water for checking tires. I watched the guy mount them, He used plenty of lube on the tire and rim before airing them up to set the beads. That is why I am so frustrated that it leaks!!

Dumb question, but gotta ask. Did you check the valve stem? Needle tight, fully seated? Was it replaced with the tire or damaged during install?

I ran into this problem with my Razr2s. It turned out to be the rim. I got ITP T-9 pros and the rim itself was leaking. To make a rim they have to weld 2 pieces together and it was leaking around the weld. I couldnt figure out why my tire would leak 1lb of air a day and the rim was the problem. You might want to check that out. Hope that helps.

I have some ITP MudLites on my 450 Foreman..The right rear leaks down from 6-7psi to almost nothing in a week or so. My Dad has a tire machine and we took the tire off and reseated it and checked all over the tired. Valve stem was fine...no holes in the tires no where. So we soaped up the tire where it meets the rim..it was leaking a little, just a few little bubbles. So we took the tire back off and Dad checked it out, come to find out the bead that it on the tire was really not there. So I guess I got the one bad tire out of the bunch. I put some rubber cement on the bead and reseated it. It held air for a few weeks but now it leaks again. I guess I just have to live with one tire that leaks down every few weeks. I air it up before each time I ride and I may loose a pound of air after riding all day or about 30 miles.. You may just have got one of those tires like I did....Live with it or just get you another tire and put that one back for a spare...
