Learning to shift body weight helps a lot. I still can't spin really tight donuts, don't care to anyway, but at speed if you get forward and unload the rear it will slide vs roll. Also rolling on the power as you're coming through the turn breaks the wheels loose. I can basically flip the back out all the time now that I've been riding a few months. I've got 23 inch front razrs, stock rear tires, front preload around halfway and rear adjusted about 3/16 tighter. I ride mostly hard pack dusty desert trails with some sand washes, some rocky areas and occasional loose gravel. It's been said quite a few times that you really need to learn to handle the IRS. Between suspension adjustments and riding technique you can live without sway bar.
