Yes a lot smoother even with the 11/16's but no, not as smooth as oem. I would trade comfort any day, over being able to turn. Before I added my bar, my quad pushed so bad on blacktop. I couldn't hardly keep in my lane on the country roads in WV following Razr's that only run 65 mph tops. And now with bar I can hold quad right on inside of my lane and ride there ass's or pass at will. Before it was darn right scary to drive.
