aftermarket bars?

hey guys im wating to go get me some aftermarket handlebars, the stock bars are way to low for me when i stand up so id like to add a few inches in height. The Raptor bend bars seem to be the hoighest i can find at 6.25 inches tall. As anyone tried the raptor bend on there 700xx. If i go that high will i need to get longer cables? Does anyone knoe how high the stock bars are?

the raptor bars ought to work but if you go with a riser too you might need longer cables

You are not going to gain much height with just bars alone, stock bars are pretty tall already, I bet in the 6" range. I run a 2" taller stem and Pro Taper raptor bend bars, so I am guessing I am about 1.5" higher then stock. (Bars I run have a 5.75" height) I had no problem with that height, but I can't speak for the stock throttle cable, as I use a twist throttle with new cable.

I have the raptor bend Tusk brand bars and they work great. Had to pop the front brake line out of the one mount and zip tie it up with a little slack is all.
