DS450 Shock conversion ?

I did a search but can't read through all the threads. Can someone tell me the basics about the ds450 swap? Are the shocks the same length as stock? Do I get the ds450 front or rear shocks? What are the advantages of keeping ds springs on vs xx springs? Thanks for any other info or experience you've had with them.

trx70xxry,
Keep in mind that the DS450 has only one rear shock. FYI

Found these and ordered them. Did I jump the gun or will these be ok?

You do know the top part of shocks need to be ground down to fit the trx, right? Very good price for the set, they look to be in good condition.

Thanks M_Quick, I did eventually read the whole 20 page post about the swap. It doesn't seem to be a hard thing to do to get a more capable shock.

Finished the conversion yesterday and can't wait to try them out. I will definitely need to do some adjusting. They feel a little spongy but I'm also a little taller and heavier. Might need to adjust preload a little.
