Question Rear Grab Bar

I just bought a 2008 XX and it has this tab welded on the back for a whip flag and I don't like how far it sticks out.
So I was wondering what are some good options for an aftermarket grab bar. It still has the stock exhaust and I don't know if I will be upgrading.

PRM, Houser, DG, is about it you decide, they all have places for a whip flag too though.

You could probably get a oem from someone dirt cheap, till you decide which one to go with.

Couldn't you just cut the tab off, grind it smooth and a little touch up paint?
