pissed Shock cover!!!!

So i spent 40 bucks on ebay on the trx shock cover and the dont cover the entire shock, they are not wide enough to go over the little ring in top of the shock nor long enough, if i compress the shock it fit but everytime i do a wheelie or a jump it tears off. Any suggestions??

i have the honda racing ones and they are all 14 inches long but they arent long enough to cover my front elkas i havent even used the honda covers yet i may try to sell them and get some for long travel elkas the other covers i had on my stock shocks was some generic ones off ebay and they were only 12 inches long all they did was cover the spring but they would stay on and after a while and some mud later my red springs got scratched bad from rubbing the spring with sandy grit in there i dont know except try to see if they make a longer cover

If you bought this style, http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-Shock-...f55e8c&vxp=mtr

Either throw them away, or try and return them for credit! And then go here and order the good kind, that really fit and last awhile!...

I have to say from seeing lots of quads and atv's and shocks. Covers will completely ruin a shock if they aren't taken off literally after every ride and cleaned and dried.

I will NEVER run them ever. I have seen very expensive elkas completely rusted out and springs rubbed right to bare metal and ruined. Along with many many stock shocks.

They hold dirt, mud, water, and moisture in the shocks. The shafts start to pit and rust so fast.

Just my experiences.
