The xc master tires came in the mail today. They look exactly like a razr 2 front. The rubber seems soft in my opinion but i have not got them mounted yet, its just an observation.

Unfortunately when I took my front wheels/tires off to take them to work I noticed my front brake pads are beyond shot!! I know the dealer is going to be expensive if i just get some replacements. Does anyone have any reccomendations for front brake pads? I found a cheap set on ebay for $16 shipped for all 4 front pads. Is this a bad idea? I don't race or anything, just need something to fit, but don't want to buy a set that wears out in a short time. The factory pads lasted me 3 1/2 years if that tells you anything.

Wow 3.5 years on fronts! I changed mine some time last year. Then wanted to do the rears over the winter. So I bought this set, only one ride on them so far but they seam fine. When I needed fronts I got waxed at the local supply shop like almost $40 for a set, but I needed them! Oh yea my rears still had like 33% left, but I changed them any way.

If they lasted you over 3.5 years, go with OEM. The price isnt that expensive. I'd stay away from a set for 16, garauntee they wont last. If I think of it tonight, I will look to see the brand I got. I get them from my Honda shop, but it isn't OEM. I have a few sets for each of my toys. Most vital thing on there, plus when I race I'd go through a set in 2 races.

2008 700xx; Power Bomb header with power core 4 exhaust, Power Programmer III, pro armor nerfs, prm products control front and rear bumpers and full skid, 10" ITP rears, ITP Baja's fronts, RZR 2's all the way around, Uni filter, 13t sprocket, CCP steering Damper, DS450 shock swap, Dual Gasser Throttle, bar risers and Moose barkBusters. 730XX kit plus other engine mods!

The dealer wanted over $70 for oem brake pads for both sides front. I ended up ordering these http://www.ebay.com/itm/160933875188...84.m1497.l2649 For the money i'll give them a try let everyone else know. I got my xc master tires mounted today but I have the front breaks all tore apart and cannot test them.

Wow $70.00!! Thats makes the $40.00 I paid at my local parts shop sound like a deal! I'm sure the ones you order'd will be fine, just keep a eye on the pad wear. I've always been leery about ordering parts for the Trx700 when they list years that the quad wasn't made, but the pads I order'd were the same way, said fits 2008 to 2013!!! Also wondering if you got 3.5 years out of fronts, if you use the rears a lot, you may want to be looking at there condition.

Finally got some time on my fronts. They are comparable to razr 2 fronts. I was worried about them being soft but after my first ride they still had a few tits on the tread. It seems like they are going to hold up great. I had forgotten how much these tires help you get rid of the push in corners

They're one of the best tires out. Can't believe it took me this long to find out! Just raced on them for 221 miles this weekend without any issues.
