Shock Failure

I recently blew the line between the shock and reservoir on one of my rear Fox Podium X shocks. Has anyone else had a similar failure. Is there a service limit to these lines and should they be replaced after a certain time?:argh:

These lines should not blow out and should last the lifetime of the shock. I don't know about Fox (I have Elka), but they do have a 1 year limited warranty and it should cover defects in material... unless they try to say damage was caused by your riding or something else you did.
