yes it comes up as far as the springs do not retain the shock from extending. yes the Z400 springs are slightly smaller in diameter and had to be pushed into place. No I did not paint them, they came white. I do not know the difference in the red and white ones, I have never seen red springs on a Z400. I haven't been around a lot of them either tho. there is a nut on the shocks that you can adjust ride height with. the spring rides on it at the top of the spring. I raised it as high on the shock as it would go.

Thanks. I mean does it still comes up as much when u launch. My z400 springs doesnt go all the way to the preload rings. The spring isn't was wide as the stock ones. I see urs goes all the way to the preload rings. My springs are red. Did u paint urs? If not what's the difference between the red and white. U said u adjusted the shock to lower them as much as possible. What u mean by that?

Did u remove the lil spring off the front shocks? What u meant by adjusting the shock to make it low as possible and is it a pita to take the springs off? Does the front still comes up easy after u lowered it compared to stock height. Sorry to bother u. Thanks
