sounds like alot of mixed reviews on the Namura pistons. Wiseco or CP Carrillo if you have the extra cash.

You can go back with all oem parts for a lot cheaper. Also the vertex piston's in the cylinder works kits are not very well thought of. If you wanna go big bore I'd either go one of two ways. 1st thought, buy oem cylinder from partzilla around $260.00 Then buy a wiseco piston $150 take to a machine shop, have them bore cylinder, $50.00 under $500 or best name piston CP- Carrillo, but those are like $220 just for the piston. 2nd option find a place like alba racing or where ever they sales top quality kits. I'm not sure if alba still does work for our 700's?

Hey check out this eBay link from summit off road. I will research the piston, I think I've herd of them but not 100%

If you wanna stay stock as possible, just clean the bottom end, I'm sure your crank is fine. And get a cylinder from partzilla.com. I went with a wiseco piston, but you can get oem from eBay or partzilla. You need to pull your valves still to check the rods and valve guides.

Sorry just now seen this message! I added a stroker crank and a hotcam that wasn't needed. I also changed the cam chain while at it. What was needed for sure was a new piston & jug, & the piston jet, plus gaskets.
