Simon Walton | It was ok to short shift but I ride every day and usually on race tuned TRX450r's and I am finding the transformation from one to the other ok but struggling with the rev limiter. |

VelociRaptor | Im sure timing comtrollers will be available soon if not already but it wont make it rev any higher, theres no point to. The engine signs off at just under 7000rpm and after that point you just need to grab the next gear and let the torque carry you instead of RPM. Its not a rev machine like the 450 class bikes, more so simular to the 700 Raptor- faster to shortshift it for quicker acceleration that trying to rev it out. Sure, timing controllers will help overall power production but wont change the fact that its a "big block" and doesnt rev because of the design of the engine. |

Rev Higher Is there any rev boxes available for the 700xx to make it rev a little higher. On a TRX450r you cut the green wire on the CDI. There are also replacement CDI units from Vortex etc but I can't seem to find anything for the 700xx. |
