mytrx700xx yeah I like the pilots , I never rode in one but always thought they looked cool...

easystreet Good comparison to the Pilot atv and I have always wanted one of them though its not real practical for me.

mytrx700xx [QUOTE=easystreet;114728]They are hard to find and I don't understand why. Its like nobody wants them, but nobody sells them either.

I think that is the future for higher resale value, just because people like ourselves are holding on to them and the used market is kinda drying up just as the new market did a year or so ago. I'm happy that I found a new one at todays used prices. I know the XX on E-bay is a little high on price and I didn't post it because of the price I only posted it because they ARE getting hard to find in any condition. I think this is the perfect bike for my needs. Lets look at the Honda Piolet for example it was only made for two years like the XX and back then nobody wanted them, today they bring a higher price than they did when new... I think both models were brought to market at a bad time and in some cases to early for their price point.

MadMav That would be sweet! Good luck.

easystreet Fully disassembled the motor and am powder coating entire motor black chrome with some candy blue and candy red accents.
Putting in a +3mm stroker crank, CP 11:1 piston, port & polish, Hotcam 3, Barker exhaust, Velocity intake and yet to decide on fuel programmer.

Should respond a little better

MadMav What are you doing to your XX?

easystreet They are hard to find and I don't understand why. Its like nobody wants them, but nobody sells them either. There was a guy up north here with his on craigslist, but he was way high. I'm sure he still has it, so it may go back on soon.
I should probably get a 4x4 for the ease of auto with less experienced riders and the ability to use it as an extraction vehicle. Will have the build done on my XX soon hopefully.

MadMav I ended up buying an '09 KZ450F. Scary fast bike. Then a month later my RZR rolled over and shattered my wrist. So the bike is gone. I will be looking for another bike/quad in a few months. RZRs are a blast, but I like variety when I ride. I want another XX, but they are hard to find.

Hey Maverick,
What was it that you bought? Wasn't it a Polaris Razor? Not enjoying it as much or what?

You should try and come up north sometime and get a ride in with me and friends. We're in our 30's/40's. Its good times. Not sure how far of a drive Rampart is for ya, but we will be going there often. Its southwest of Denver.

I'm looking to pick up another quad to have on hand and can't decide what to get. Its between a XX, Raptor, or a big bore ute 4x4.

MadMav Looks to have quite a few hours from the wear on the tire.

Missing my XX, but not paying that for one.
