Nash04 | Well! Took almost everything apart then realized that I can not take the plastic cover on top of the engine due to the evaporation tube which must be depressurize prior of removing which if I'm not wrong, need to do that prior of taken the crap off so I decided to leave it and will just bring it in once I come back from Maine. |

Nash04 | Mine is about 20 hours and usually I can tell by the sound but with this exhaust, it's hard to hear. I might still do it since I'll be doing some mileage in a couple of weeks and want everything to be a-ok |

bduncan1231 | You are supposed to check the valve lash after 25 hours if I remember correctly. My intakes were loose while the exhausts were good. Its not a very involved process. It might take you about an hour longer than on your 400ex the first time. |

Valve Adjustments How hard is this adjustment, have done it on my 400EX numerous times which was pretty simple but from I saw last night, I basically need to take all the front plastic and gas tank off just to have access to the top end which of course it's not that hard to do but more time consuming than anything else. Has anybody had to adjust their valves as of yet? When should you actually need to adjust them, on my 400 EX I used to do it when I could hear them clicking but with this engine and exhaust, it's hard to tell. Thank you |
