your post is a good post with real information from experience !
I have oem hids in my car.. Its around £90 for one replacement hid lamp... or two for £20 from china !
the chinese dont use as much precious metals in their lamps, hence the price ..
Ive got a set on my trx, they have even been submerged and never had a problem with them in like 3 years now... guess its luck of the draw!
Unless you spend big bucks for branded lighting with led, you just never know what your getting and the claims of watts and lumens can be so false with the chinese stuff.

I have an OPT7 LED kit in my car and it has been working great for at least 6 months. The light output is not as high as an HID kit would be, but it is at least equivalent in brightness to the halogen bulbs with a nice looking color, great reliability, and a really good light pattern that doesn't blind people. From the drivers seat, the light pattern and lowbeam cutoff look factory. I really only bought them because its a huge pain to change bulbs in my car (loosen bumper, remove headlight assembly, etc).
Sorry for the long post -

Advert confuses me a bit... if the 3A means 3 amp then cant be 80watt... That would be 36 watt ! It also says xenon? Xenon is a gas that can replace halogen gas or for use in hids..
I will stick with hid,s . at least you know the lumens output, and i think the hids are still cheaper than the led...
A lot of these led lights are made in china and do they really tell the truth as to how many lumens or watts their chip is? Hmmm.

|ehart814||Cool! Thanks for the info. I saw those on ebay, and similar ones on amazon but the reviews were mixed. They aren't exactly cheap, so I was hoping to talk to someone that had some. Even if they were close in brightness to the stock bulbs I would probably buy them. Let us know how they work in the dark! Thanks again|

Went right in and they seem pretty bright but I have not rode at night yet to give an honest review. I may go with one of the Black Knight light bars as well just for the fact I prefer a well lit area in front of me.

Nice looking quad. I noticed in your list of parts you have an LED headlight. Is it an H6M LED bulb, or did you install a light bar after, or did I miss something? I'd really like to put LED headlights in my 700 without adding a light bar. Mine is all original / stock and I don't want to make any real modifications.
If you used a replacement bulb, what kind did you buy and how do you like it?

|M_Quick||This was tuned on a pc3 right? If so I believe there are a few members curently looking for a big stage 3 map. Yours may be close enough to help them out.|

|allullc||Stock is somewhere around 40whp. I've seen a big 3 dyno graph on here that showed something like 42-43whp. So to be an honest 10whp above that is a pretty damn good jump with what we did. Shelf parts with a not over the top head port which results in a solid combination. Keeping it reliable and able to take the rigors of woods riding without skipping a beat.|

|cataway||i guess I don't know what the stock numbers are|
