mumbauer So far I haven't had issues with my chain, but it certainly sounds like a good idea to have the right stuff along to tighten it quick! I'll be changing the front brakes soon, so I'll be sure to set those sockets aside as well.

Just came back from w va. When I backed quad up to load, my chain was clanking. So yeah large socket, or I've used a 12" crescent wrench on the trail. Definitely have a 12 and 10mm socket, pliers for cotter pins. In case you bend a tie-rod.

Footy The chain adjustment requires a 24 mm on the large side. The lug nuts are 17mm just like every other honda atv. I needed both of those on a trip to WV.

Common Sockets/Wrenches

I was curious if anyone already has a list of the common socket/wrench sizes needed to do on trail repair for the 700XX. I also ride with a 300EX and 400EX, so I'll have to see what is common for those...I'm thinking it's probably similar.
