Blak92 Thanks for all the comments guys!!! I dont have the time to get another race in this year, so I am already looking forward to next years AMA. I might even go for the GNCC at Snow Shoe IF I can get myself in good enough shape for it.

The first 20 min of the course was all tight brutal close tree/rock horseS. I inadvertantly put the death grip on the bars that whole stretch and completely wore my forearms out. I took a break about 30 min into the race at the 2nd hill climb cause there was a bunch of people hung up on it. All together it was 23.8mi for one lap, and they let me only do one, we started late, had a couple of dirt bikes get banged up bad and taken off to the hospital... same thing with 2 quads. I dont think I had another in me anyway, just siked myself out too much the first part.
Your been to hard on yourself ! 30+ riders in your class and you finished 16 ish. That is a good result because you did what the 1000 other members will probably never do . You entered a race on a 700xx and tried your best. You will ache for a couple of days and on Tuesday probably ended up walking like John Wayne.

I am proud of you buddy and it gets easier the more you do it, Congrats my man .
From the Brit.

Also you will learn to relax and reduce arm pump.

Blak92 You can rent the transponder for $30, and get 20 back at the end. That was my first race. D6 let you pass on reg with them, so I think it was 119, then got 20 back. D6 reg was 30 I think, had I needed to pay. Other then that, you were suppose to have a tether kill, but I didnt, no one said anything.

lager1 Leaves room for improvement bud. Was that your first race? How much did it cost to run? I saw you need a transponder that you can rent and was not sure what else you needed.
