And yah if you want to ride for days and not see a soul there are plenty places here like that.

When i lived out in Northern California i saw some of the best senery america can offer.
Plumas National forest and Tahoe will have some great camping areas...and yah you can get lost for days out there. Bad thing is that california laws suck..
other states out in western USA are not as strict..
Utah has some great trails or try colorado if tis warm enough when you show up. One of my best tools in finding trails to explore has been Google Earth.
good luck...and search the web for more info...we do not have a shortage of trails here.

Hi guys,,,, My name is Elijah,,,I live in a Farming town in New Zealand,, (Okato) 30min from the city of New plymouth,, population of 50,000,,,, Im 34 with two kids and a farm,,,,my Friends and I love Trail riding Im super addicted... Tha trails in New Zealand are great lots of open farm trails big hills plenty of bush we got it all,,, wet and fast is my favourite!!!!! my xx eats it up,,, I have a dynojet compter and custom built stainless pipe,,, Anyway what Im here about is Im planing a trip to the U.S.A for the sole purpose of trail riding and sending a 2010 700xx home,,,,,So I need advise,,, I want to go somewere I can ride out for days and somewere with a challenge.. We have these two day events over here (N.Z) were hunderds of riders camp out, then in the mornings the trails open early and you just blast it.
I bet you guys have huge events like this too,,, Im dying to ride with you guys I bet the rider skill level will be high with all the competition over there!!!
So hit me with your ideas please
