mustangGH ranger and I run XC on ours we love it its a lot smoother than the S/A bikes and we dont usually have any probs gettin through the trees anymore than they do our tracks are pretty nice usually the main thing we need is shocks and sway bars I dont air mine out much dont like that whole front end plowing thing lol ... even adjusted stiff mine bottoms the nose out i think the shocks are pretty much fried on mine

I'm surprised how well the 700xx did on the track plus it was my first time on a real track. I was able to drift the turns and air it out like the 450's. However, I am definatly feeling it today. The handlebar hit my right thigh pretty hard when I hit the tree and got a small limp. My arms and shoulders are just as tired but my back hurts the most partially from previous football injuries. According to the gncc web site, I did three laps in 1:14:37 but can do a lot better without a bent tie rod.
You did good . The first race is the hardest , kinda of a steep learning curve and then some. The more you do the easier it gets and you don't walk like "John Wayne" on Tuesdays. You will learn alot about yourself and the 700xx in a race.

crwh45 that sucks, that is one of the best parts of the track, along w/ the sky jump.

TRX700XXX They made it so you couldn't fly over gravity. You have to go around this thing so your going slow.

crwh45 That's not bad for your first race. Tons of fun wasn't it? Gravity Cavity is my favorite there, just launch it for as far as you can LOL.

crwh45 TRX700XX. How did you like the track? Again I am sorry I couldn't show up, it could of been fun. Wait until probably tomorrow and then tell everyone how wonderful your body feels LOL. IDK if you really raced this hard before, but if you haven't, you'll def. know you did come tomorrow. You couldn't of had much more time left did you? Did they end up using the whole MX track this time (like probably 80% of it?).

TRX700XXX I just raced GNCC today in NY in collage B class today. I tricked the tech inspector and made it look like my kill switch works even tho it doesn't. Didn't notice any other 700xx's there either. I raced with the mods below and didn't finish. On the first lap, I hit a small tree and bent my right tie rod. I still road it for 3 laps but steering it was too hard and called it quits. The most important mod on any quad is a steering stabilizer which thankfully I had even though the bars got ripped out of my hands anyway. Knowing what I know now, I would have done the rear shocks before engine mods. I'm about 135lbs and there was just endless whoops and the rear kicked the whole time. More power is nice but suspension is sooooo much more important. I kept up with the people in my class for a while but my arms got really tired quickly from fighting the steering. If you really want to race gncc, just buy a 450, they're much lighter better for tight woods. But you can still have fun and keep up on the 700xx. My next mods would be re-valve rear shocks and texiera tech upper front a arms for quicker steering. Doing that will that will be enough to stick with my class for the entire race.
