|Nash04||Spoke to Ziggy from theatvzone and it was just a rumor, the news paper that reported the story was incorrect. So at this moment, it's open.|

Lost Trails Closed
Lost Trails has been served with a cease and desist order from Pocono Township. Seems that Lost Trails is operating in a residential zone. Property owners from Emerald Lakes attended a township meeting held in Tobyhanna Township to ask questions as to why the board of supervisors were considering a change to the Zoning ordinance that would allow the property that Lost Trails is built on to be changed from Residential to Commercial. The biggest complaints came from landowners who complained about noise as well as landowners who,s adjoining property was being used without their permission. While Tobyhanna Twp did not allot time for discussion of this matter at this particular meeting they will have a special meeting to consider the rezoning request. Pocono Township on the other hand has put in place a cease and desist order that may bring the operation of the park to a halt.
One of the first questions I had asked Tony when he decided to build the park was how the land was zoned. Tony told me that it did not matter the park would fall under the umbrella of the Pocono Manor resorts operation of a resort. I hope for Tony,s sake that this is correct. From all the folks I have talked to this may just be true. All depends if the land is sub divided or not.
This is what I found on the atvzone site since I do not see anything on the lostrails web site but do tend believe it, that's too bad if it's correct
