How far out is this? Is a wheelie bar the only thing that we could use or dose anyone have an idea about stretching the XX out? Lol

Last night I was thinking this sounds just like the project Eric at WK is working on lol, I didn’t know you guys were working on it together. Daniel from HDD had me back off the 727 wet sleeve to wait for the new stuff :D
I'm ready to spend some money so you guys have 1 person ready to go already.

Do you or Eric (WK) know when these might be ready or who is going to do the first stroker (EHS or WK) I guess what I'm trying to say is do you guys already have someone lined up to be first or a waiting list?

I hope this moves along faster than the XXX portwork experiment!
Great things take some time. My Alba head was done in 3 days and lets just say I regret everything about my Alba build.

Your giving them negative reviews, I'm just curious to some details. Please don't take my questions as picking to argue, but details on your opinion of the matter may help others in there decisions to use there products or not.
I'll PM anyone that is truly interested. I realize you aren’t trying to argue but I also know other members on here like too so I would rather not take this tread any further off topic then I already did.

IMO - just say what it is, leave out the colorful commentary and let what was done speak for itself.

It's not bashing if you stick to the facts.
IMO Alba's work on my head and TB was a joke, I don’t know that you could even call it a mild port and they couldn’t get my tune right with my Dobeck or PCV. There are a few other little things like, I feel I was lead in the wrong direction just so they could make more money off me in the future. Really all I was trying to get out there is after doing my home work (to late to save me money) I know there is much better builders out there with much better prices.

Sorry to hear that! I don't think that was in any way shape or form inflammatory though.
Yeah I don't want to bash on Alba because I think they have there place (mild builds IMO) I just wish they would of told me they couldn’t handle the build I wanted before they took 2500 from me.

....nevermind ceballos is right lets try and get back on track. Sorry Eric

Its not going to take a 824XX to show most raptors up, but if your talking drag bike vs. drag bike a 824XX wont even come close to an equal CC raptor. The Raptor guys are already making 95+hp on stock bore 700’s and lets not even bring up the DS guys lol.

i actually have one coming saturday now thanks guys
:rock:I can’t wait to see the outcome. Who’s the lucky man getting the first stroker?

i am the lucky guy dropping my bike off with eric on saturday, bike only has 20-25 hrs on it, it should be a good test. Looking foward to seeing the results. im new to the forum due to just getting the bike in december, i appriciate all the info i have gotten from u guys. I will keep u updated on the results.
Congrats on the upcoming upgrades. What mods are you doing?

Your going to love it, the cam, piston, and head work really wake the XX up. The wait is going to kill you though lol.

Can't wait to see numbers. I would love mine to put down 65-70 hp. I believe 800cc with the right cam, and piston can do it on pump gas..........?
We should be able to see 65HP or close to it without more CC

I didn’t trail ride much before my build started and I don’t think I will use it at all for trails now.

dang in my own thread you try to refer people to someone else that isnt a sponsor for doing exactly what im doing, kinda disrespectful imo

You are right. I took my post down so if you want to edit yours to take my quote out it will be gone. I apologize for posting that in your own thread; I should’ve started my own. I didn’t mean any disrespect; I just wasn’t paying attention to what thread I was in. Can’t wait to see the end result of your build

Even Alba's stage 3 "aggressive" kit only claims 61 hp, and that's on race gas, with a more aggressive cam than I want. Engines seem to get temperamental when the cam is that aggressive. So assuming I went with that setup, and the 727 kit (6%increase in displacement, 0 increase in stroke) that would, in theory, put me at 64 hp peak. So with the +3 tb, it may put me there, but again, on race gas, at a loss of low rpm smoothness.

I believe Eric's 824 kit with an 11:1 and stage 2 cam (stock springs/rockers) some mild porting, stock valves, and the basic big 3 (any brand) will net 65-70 hp at the tires all day long on pump gas. I may be wrong about that, but I think for the long term, the 824 will be the better way to reliably make big power.

As for who to buy from, as much as he's done for this community, I'm gonna get mine from Eric, wether it's just a slipon, or the full 824 kit, or anything in between.

85hp? hmm, I thought you photoshopped the nos bottle on there.
I barely know how to type so there is defiantly no photo shop going on with me :lmao: Can you do me a favor and take my quote out of your post :thanks: Again sorry for making this a who’s a better build in Eric’s thread. You seem to know a lot about the 824 kit that I didn’t think was even going to be around for months. Can you tell us more about it?
