I have a couple of leftover oil filters from a previous Honda quad probably a TRX500FE and both look identical to the TRX700 OEM filter I just picked up from a dealer (different part numbers obviously). I can't see any physical difference between them.
Would you risk using a oil filter with a different part number but looks the same or should forget about the using the old ones?
